This artifact was created to show the techniques learned for preparing a movie using iMovie. The production took a good amount of time to perfect, but the transitions and photos really flow together well. The music gives the feel I wanted to portray in order for the recipient to feel calm and comfortable while watching clips from my life. This video helps to express my creativity and is a good example for what I can create in the future and within the classroom. There are many aspects within the film that are seen in order to make the material clear and easy to use.
Starting out I did not know anything about creating a movie, but playing around with the tool and seeing what I could put together, became really fun and interesting. Many things went well while others took me a while to figure out, such as: moving around the text and transitions. I will use video making a lot in my classroom in order to get across a point in other ways other than lecture or reading. It will be exciting and a very visual way of teach. I enjoyed creating this piece of work and will make many more throughout my career.
