Evaluating Sites
An activity to look over a site to determine who it is meant for, what it is meant for, and why; is great for learning how sites work and the special aspects in which it provides. I looked for where the author would be located and how to contact him or her. Evaluating whether a site is easy to use or difficult to direct is an important aspect on rating a web page. This site needed to be for children, parents, and/or teachers. Depending on who the site was made for determined how high the level of reading and ability would be. I did Seussville, a young age group learning to read and like to read. This was meant for many ages as well as parent and teachers. Children with disabilities could use this site as well in that there are visual and audio ways of viewing and learning. The activity was very educational and fun in learning a new website that I could use in my classroom.
