TPTE Overall

This class has definitely inspired me to be more creative and innovative.  All the tools learned within the course will be used in my class or in my life.  I am grateful we had to take this class in order to receive our degree, because it really put things in perspective of what we can do to stimulate our students and inform our parents.  The class as a whole took some time and was frustrating at times, but I got through and it was worth it! I am looking forward to what else I will learn in this field of study and maybe one day I could create something to help teachers in their education strategies to help improve student understanding. 

Miss Polte's Classroom Website

I created a very colorful and stimulating website for my class and parents.  The information provided on the site will allow individuals to contact me and keep up to date on most events or activities.  There are also many useful sites in which all who view can get creative ideas for greater leaning.  In creating the website there were many things that went well, including: adding text, adding pictures, and creating a side bar.  I had trouble on some aspects of designing the site such as how to delete a page or get the pictures where I wanted them.  It was very frustrating.  I will use this site in my classroom to inform my students and parents of all the information stated above.  It will be useful for getting everything to the parents and if any questions, hopefully the answer will be on the site.  Next time I make a site or update a site I will know many abilities I did not know before.  If I need help, I will ask or look it up online; instead of fidgeting with it for an hour.  Overall good experience and will help me in many ways throughout life and my career.
